Rules
  • *Guest entries are considered as part of card holder's complimentary entries per calendar year (guest visits will be deducted from the available complimentary entries). Only your first guest will benefit from your complimentary entries and your second guest will be charged.
  • Complimentary entries are shared between SLOW Domestic Lounges, SLOW International and Bidvest Premier Lounges.
  • Free visits are based on your reward level at time of entering the lounge, which is updated on or around the 8th of each month
  • All complimentary entries will be allocated at main customer level and can be used/ accessed by any card (cheque, credit cards or RMB Private Bank Fusion cards)
  • Unused complimentary entries do not roll over to the next calendar year, except for the month of January where the allocation from the month of December will be applicable until on or around the 7th of January
  • If you do not meet the qualifying criteria for complimentary entries or you have used all your available complimentary entries, you will be charged for entering the lounge
  • Children younger than 2 years enter the SLOW Domestic Lounges, SLOW International and Bidvest Premier Lounges for free, this means their entry does not count towards your complimentary entries. Children over the age of 2 years will be considered guests.
  • All entries into the SLOW Domestic, SLOW International Lounges and Bidvest Premier Lounges will be charged for and if you meet the qualifying criteria for complimentary entries and still have complimentary entries available, the charges will be reversed.

SLOW Lounge access rules
  • All qualifying cheque and credit cardholders who have access to SLOW Domestic Lounges will only be allowed to enter 90 minutes before their departure time
  • Should the lounge capacity be reached, FNB Business Black, FNB Private Wealth and RMB Private Bank customers will be granted preferential access
  • All your entries into the SLOW Lounges are non-transferable. All unused visits will not roll over to the next month
  • Any additional entries (in excess of those mentioned above) will be charged for
  • Access will only be permitted on presentation and swiping of applicable card by the cardholder
  • Only valid cards will be accepted. No expired cards will be accepted
  • Only one card will be permitted per cardholder per visit and must be accompanied by a departure pass
  • Both the card and the departure pass must be issued in the same individual's name
  • SLOW reserves the right to decline entry should any of the lounges be full.
  • Access is subject to availability, according to SLOW Lounge capacity
  • SLOW reserves the right of admission and retains the right to deny access should they deem necessary
  • Cardholders under the age of 18 years will not be permitted access unless accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years
  • Children younger than 2 years old may access the SLOW Lounge for free
  • All FREE entries will be allocated at main client level and can be used/ accessed by any card (Cheque, Credit or additional Credit Card)

EXPLORE BIDVEST LOUNGE

Business uninterrupted

At airports without SLOW Lounges or where capacity in the SLOW Lounge has been reached, RMB Private Bank Cheque and Credit Cardholders are welcome to use the Bidvest Premier Lounges.

Bidvest Lounges can be found at O.R. Tambo International, Cape Town International, King Shaka International, Port Elizabeth, East London, and George and Bloemfontein Airports.

Free access for children in Bidvest will be limited to 2 children per visit

Bidvest lounge access rules
  • The Bidvest Lounges will not accept any RMB Private Bank cardholders with expired cards.
  • The Bidvest Lounges will not allow the passenger into the lounge without an RMB Private Bank card present.
  • The Bidvest Lounges will only permit the cardholder access to the lounges if the RMB Private Bank Credit Card or Cheque Card presented is in their individual name.
  • Only one card (RMB Private Bank Credit Card or Cheque Card) will be permitted per client requiring access to the lounge and must be accompanied by a departure pass (both the card and the departure pass must be in the same individual's name).
  • The partnership in question is between RMB Private Bank and Bidvest and not RMB and Bidvest. Only clients of RMB Private Bank will be permitted free access to the lounge, on presentation of their RMB Private Bank Credit Card or Cheque Card and departure pass.

  • Access to Bidvest Premier Lounge is limited to 120 minutes for Domestic Lounges and 240 minutes for International Lounges.

  • All your entries into the lounges are non-transferable. All unused visits will not roll over to the next calendar year
  • If you do not meet the qualifying criteria for free visits or you have used all your available free visits you will be charged for entering the lounges
  • Your free visits are determined from your Reward Level at time of entering the lounge, which is updated around the 8th of each
  • Access will only be permitted on presentation and swiping of applicable card by the cardholder
  • Only valid cards will be accepted. No expired cards will be accepted
  • Only one card will be permitted per cardholder per visit and must be accompanied by a boarding pass
  • Both the card and the boarding pass must be issued in the same individual's name
  • SLOW reserves the right of admission and retains the right to deny access should they deem necessary
  • Cardholders under the age of 18 years will not be permitted access unless accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years
  • Children younger than 2 years old may access the SLOW Lounge for free
  • All FREE visits will be allocated at main client level and can be used/ accessed by any card (cheque, credit, Fusion or additional credit)
  • All qualifying cheque and credit cardholders who have access to Bidvest Lounges will only be allowed to enter 120 minutes before their departure time at Domestic Lounges and 240 minutes before their departure time at International Lounges
    • You may be charged for stays beyond this time limit at the applicable rate for the Lounge.
    • Should you leave the Lounge for any reason after the expiry of this time limit, you will be charged at the applicable rate for re-entering the Lounge.
  • The partnership in question is between RMB Private Bank and Bidvest and not RMB and Bidvest. Only clients of RMB Private Bank will be permitted access to the lounge, on presentation of their RMB Private Bank Credit Card or Cheque Card and boarding pass.

Access rules

SLOW Domestic Lounge SLOW International
Boarding time Access to all SLOW Domestic Lounges is limited to 90 minutes before boarding time If you have utilised all your complimentary entries and meet the qualifying criteria, card holders are charged R50 per child per entry (between the ages of 2 and 18 years)
Children Children older than 2 years and under the age of 18 years will be considered guests if you are on level 1,2 or 3 and their entry will be charged for considering you already have a first guest Children older than 2 years and under the age of 18 years will be considered guests if you are on level 1,2 or 3 and their entry will be charged for; considering you already have a first guest
Your reward level If you are on Reward Level 4 or 5, children under the age of 18 years will have unlimited entries If you are on Reward Level 4 or 5, children under the age of 18 years will have unlimited entries
Free visits If you do not meet the qualifying criteria for free visits the fee per person per entry is R250 If you do not meet the qualifying criteria for complimentary entries the fee per person per entry is R500
  • All qualifying credit and cheque cardholders who have access to SLOW Domestic Lounges will only be allowed to enter 90 minutes before their boarding time
  • Should the SLOW Lounge capacity be reached, RMB Private Bank customers will be granted preferential access
